Permanent Accountant / Senior Bookkeeper Position – Century City

A firm of Chartered Accountants based in Century City
requires the services or a Senior Bookkeeper / Accountant.

The Ideal candidate must meet the following requirements:


·Matric / Grade 12

·Relevant tertiary qualification

Skills and Experience

·Must have minimum of 6 years bookkeeping
experience in processing, analysing and capturing cashbook, creditors and
debtors invoices

·Books to Balance Sheet

·Accuracy and a good understanding of
reconciliations is essential

·Completion and submission of PAYE/UIF/SDL

·Completion and submission of VAT returns

Software Packages

·Strong Pastel Partner working experience essential

·Strong VIP Payroll Experience essential

·Caseware – Drafting of financials

·Great Soft will be an added advantage

·Microsoft Office, must have good knowledge and experience specifically Excel

·Advanced computer skills


·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·A passion for service excellence with ability to maintain high standards of professionalism with clients

·Must be able to work independently as well as in a team

·Detail orientated, accurate and able to multi-task and adapt with change

·Organised, efficient and able to maintain composure under pressure

·Must have own transport
