Online furniture business in the Southern Suburbs looking for a friendly, confident, well- presented individual graduate or part timer as an administrative assistant and personal assistant to owner of the business.

Requirements:

– Matric Certificate plus an additional relevant qualification or 4 years work experience in similar industry/sales
– Proficiency in English (written and spoken) 
– Friendly and approachable demeanour, patient with customers
– Smart and neatly presented to deal directly with customers and designers
– Own transport
– self starter and to work remotely and independently
– proficiency in Social Media and XL

Duties to be undertaken are as follows:

Administrative Duties:

– Running and maintenance of website www.vintage-etc.com (with assistance of a designer and owner- but to execute and update)
– Liaising/Communicating with customers on orders/stock availability/placing orders
– Arranging deliveries from suppliers and to customers
– Minor technical maintenance of the website (very easy- training will be given)
– Working part time from the show room room in Northgate Island      -attend exhibitions and shows for the business 
 – stock take on XL 

Occasional Personal Assistant Duties:

– Personal and family admin for business owner (example paying bills, booking tickets, meeting builders, assisting with research and purchases) 
– Running misc errands for business owner
Previous work experience either in sales or in admin/PA will be to your advantage

Please no time-wasters or people not serious about this position, you need to be 100% reliable and punctual

Hours/Wage 9-2pm daily working from show room in Pardon Island – Monday, Tues, Wed,Friday and Saturday mornings
Salary – is dependent on experience but basic salary is R4000 – R6000 per month plus commissions on all sales from show room/website
Start training part time in Dec, for handover by current manager (going to study full time) 
Start working on 15th January 
3 month trial before becoming permanent.
