Assistant Accountant

R 20 000 CTC per month depending on experience

The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, excellent numeracy skills, computer literacy and good administrative skills.

The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for debtors and creditors management for the various companies in the group. This includes assistance with the establishment and implementation of control measures, policies and procedures and reporting systems to meet the requirement of our various stakeholders, which include the Development Bank of South Africa, our financiers and shareholders.

The position will report directly to the Financial Manager.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting

  • 1 – 5 years post qualification work in a relevant sector

  • Experience with Pastel Evolution would be advantageous

  • Good analytic skills

  • Excellent computer literacy (MS Word and MS Excel)
