One of the top Five Star Hotels situated in Cape Town is seeking to employ an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager (Junior Position) who will be reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager

The Ideal candidate must have:-
Minimum Grade 12 (Std. 10)
Hotel School Management Diploma
At least two 2 years’ experience as an Assistant F&B Manager
Computer literate – knowledge of Fidelio and Micros
Excellent Communication Skills
Knowledge of IR

Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for Staff Welfare & Training, Control Systems, Operating Equipment, Revenues
and Expenses
Ensure that the department is economically manned at all times in line with occupancies
Manage and control outlets within the department in order to achieve or exceed budget profitability,
by maintaining a high standard of service, presentation and efficiency
Devise, implement & promote ongoing F&B promotions to maximize revenue
Ensure that the hotel cost control policies and procedures are adhered to
Handle complaints in a quick, efficient and professional manner
Ensure that all month-end reports are completed and distributed to the correct
departments in the required time
