Financial Manager required for small company based in the Milnerton area

Job discription:

  • Full administration function including client interaction and collections
  • Full accounting functions; including bank reconciliations, debtors and creditors reconciliations, invoicing and statements and debtors capturing and follow-ups
  • General interaction with and adherence to SARS, Workman’s Compensation and department of Labour requirements and deadlines; including VAT201’s, EMP501 recons, UI19’s and WCA returns 
  • Bookkeeping on Pastel up to at least trial balance
  • Full payroll process including EMP501 reconciliation

Knowledge requirements:

  • Advance experience in Pastel including payroll
  • Advance experience in Microsoft office, particularly Excel
  • Working knowledge of SARS e-filing and Microsoft office will count in your favor
  • At least 5 years experience in accounting and / or Administration environment with a stable employment history

Attributes:

  • Bilingual and fluent in English and Afrikaans
  • Preferably a dynamic woman aged 30 years old
  • Punctual, Honest and Conscientious 
  • Reliable and Accurate
  • Able to work independently and without supervision, yet also possesses strong interpersonal skills so that he / she can deal with colleagues and clients
  • Used to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Will suit someone interested in figures, and willing to learn
  • Ability to understand quickly and portray the right the attitude
  • Energetic person with both accounting, bookkeeping and administration skills
  • Have own transport and possession of a valid drivers license
