Introduction : Kendrick Recruitment are currently looking for an Executive Chef for a 5 star Lodge near Hluhluwe in KwaZulu Natal. The ideal candidate will have experience in fine dining and must have the ability to oversee 4 kitchens on the Reserve. We are looking for an efficient and effective leader to oversee the kitchens offering support and advice to all levels of chefs and staff. The individual must have a professional and outgoing personality who is motivated, energetic and creative and be willing to working in a lodge environment. The Executive Chef will be responsible for menu creation, all health and hygiene requirements, maintenance of the kitchen and kitchen admin along with budget and stock control.The following requirements and qualifications are a MUST:Recognised Culinary qualification4/5 years as a Head or Executive Chef in a similar 5* LODGE environmentKnowledge of current culinary trends in both Food and beverageKnowledge in Boma catering and eventsDietary requirementsA passion for food and wineExcellent managerial skillsComputer literateSalary is R15,000 and very negotiable.
