Main Purpose:

To provide general end-user technical support to SAHRA staff and assist the Network Technician with
the maintenance of SAHRA IT network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, support, maintain and repair all IT related hardware
• Installation, upgrading and configuration of approved software
• Troubleshoot and resolve general IT problems
• Assist in the maintenance of the IT network as required
• Maintain technical logs of all IT problems and resolutions
• Respond to helpdesk queries via telephone and email ticketing system
• Advise on technical and other related matters to enhance SAHRA IT systems
• Maintain a professional outlook at all times
Key Requirements:
• A+ and N+ or CCNA qualification
• At least two years relevant experience in computers and networks
• Sound knowledge of various connectivity protocols, e.g. TCP/IP, SMTP
• Specific experience in Windows and Linux networks is required
• A valid Code B (former Code 08) driver’s license is compulsory
