Legal & Compliance Officer (6 month contract)

Consumer finance company seeks Legal & Compliance Officer to cover maternity cover contract for 6 months.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the company is protected and compliance across legislative and regulatory practices.  You will ensure that staff and business partners are given the necessary assistance wrt relevant legislations and regulations.

What you will need to apply:

Relevant law degree

2 years post articles experience would be advantageous

Knowledge or experience within financial services or credit risk would be preferable

Strong understanding of South African law

Must be able to assume 6 month contract
