The Newmark Hotels is seeking to fill the position of a Sales Co Ordinator in the Marketing Department. The successful applicant will require the following attributes:
4.1 Ensures that the administration and records in the department are being kept in accordance with company standards.
4.2 Ensures that the research work is undertaken in accordance with accepted research standards and the company requirements.
4.3 Fosters excellent relationships with key corporate and travel trade clients.
4.4 Attends such meetings as are deemed to be necessary by the Group Sales & Marketing Manager.
4.5 Organises participation at Trade Exhibitions, and Sales trips, where applicable and directed by the Group Sales & Marketing Manager.
4.6 Assist with Travel Arrangements for Sales Trips / Trade Shows
4.7 Is aware of the competition and tracks competitor activity regularly.
4.8 Performs any additional duties that may be required or as requested by the Group Sales& Marketing Manager.
4.9 Be required to work overtime when requested by the Group Sales & Marketing Manager.
4.10 Tracks tour operator and Corporate Client performance on a monthly basis and compiles the performance statistics, according to the laid down standards.
4.11 Organises and coordinates the Sales Executives diaries and appointments.
4.12 Assist with site inspection occasionally when requested by the Group Sales & Marketing Manager
4.13 Liaison between the company and its clients – assist with communication / quotes / lead generation in accordance with company standards
4.14 Managing images / deadlines on Tour Operator Brochure Contributions
4.15 Attendance of weekly / monthly sales meetings – keeping minutes
