Manager Managed Services – Fujitsu, Rivonia – South Africa

The successful candidate will be pivotal to the achievement of this objective.

This is a senior manager role within Fujitsu, based in Rivonia, Johannesburg, and the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and growing Fujitsu’s Managed Services business throughout South Africa. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Services – Africa.

Proven experience with a successful track record in Managed Infrastructure Services (MIS) delivery is an essential prerequisite coupled with sound knowledge of the market dynamics in the ICT sector. The candidate should have the ability to continue successful delivery of existing projects while building a strong MIS value proposition for the South African market. Leadership skills and the ability to build trusted relationships both internally and externally is key to success in this role.

 

Minimum requirements:

 Matric and relevantdegree/certifications;

 Minimum 10 years’ experience in the ITsector of which 5 years must have been at managerial level;

 Broad knowledge of IT industry and Infrastructure Services;

 Experience in designing, delivering and implementingIT infrastructure Services;

 Demonstrable knowledge of service delivery,associated processes and methodologies;

 Appropriate certification/accreditation (eg: ITIL);

 Proven track record of achievements of budgets and projectdelivery.

Roles and responsibilities

 Grow and develop the MIS footprint in the South African environment;

 Deliver customised service solutions which enable clients to cost effectively manage their IT environment;

 Develop aunique service proposition that can show differentiation in the IT market;

 Manage a team comprising various delivery elements of the MIS structure including;Remote Infrastructure Management Services;  Service DeskandTechnical Managed Services;

 Strong alignment with global Fujitsu portfolio element leads;

 Articulate and present the Fujitsu’s MIS value proposition;

 Ability to drive productivity and service improvement;

 Standardisation of processes;

 Own the profit and loss of the Managed Infrastructure Services business unit.
