OFFICE/CREDITORS ADMINISTRATOR – SOMERSET WEST


FULL TIME POSITION WITH 3 MONTH PROBATION

DUTIES

  • Create
    Purchase Orders and payments
  • Match
    delivery notes, orders numbers and invoices
  • Follow up
    on pending and incomplete documentation
  • Reconcile
    creditors monthly statements and resolving queries
  • Reconcile
    monthly stock take figures
  • Processing
    of cashbooks on pastel v12;
  • Assist
    with reconciliation of intercompany loan accounts and journals
  • Assist
    with yearend audit preparation
  • Processing
    Petty cash on Pastel for various sites
  • Assist
    with preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Other
    bookkeeping functions
  • Project
    Reporting
  • Assist
    with company documentation. BEE Certificates, COIDA, etc.
  • Support
    and back-up function for Financial, Accounts and Payroll Administrator
  • PA to
    Group Financial Manager
  • Day to
    Day office administration

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum
    of 5 years bookkeeping and administration experience
  • Grade 12
    and a relevant bookkeeping qualification
  • Full
    knowledge of Pastel (min 3 years’ experience)
  • Microsoft
    Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Fully
    bilingual in English and Afrikaans (both spoken and written)
  • Ability
    to work under pressure and to take the initiative to resolve problems
  • An
    attitude of perfection in tidiness, neatness and attention to detail
  • Excellent
    general administration skills (i.e. filing, referencing etc.)
