PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO SENIOR CONTRACT MANAGER
A construction company is seeking to employ a personal assistant. The personal assistant will report to the Senior Contract Manager.
2 – 3yrs exp in a similar role
Computer literate – intermediate/advance level (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and Email)
The importance of this role is that the candidate should possess all of the following skills.
Strong communication skills at all levels
Good telephone etiquette
Strong organisational abilities
Exceptional multi tasking abilities
Strong time management
Friendly, approachable nature
Ability to build and maintain relationships with people inside and outside of the team
Mature in that the successful candidate cannot take things personally, and can work unsupervised
Confidentiality is important
Works well under pressure
The responsibilities will include, but not be limited in anyway to:-
Manage Senior Contract Manager’s e-mail account
Greeting new Contract Managers, Foremen and Supervisors and talking them through their itinerary for the first day; making them feel welcome.
Updating various report details
Keep Senior Contract Manager up to date with any information that may be important with regards to daily operations of various construction sites.
Managing calls from irate clients and ensuring that their queries are dealt with timeously / forwarding these queries for resolution and then following up
Travel arrangements including accommodation and car hire as and when required
Office Management duties
Assist with adhoc duties as and when required
Assist other areas of the business with admin related tasks where required
SALARY R8000-R10 000 per month
