PRODUCTION STOCK / COSTING CLERK

International Printing Company requires a Production Stock / Costing Clerk in the Administration Department reporting to the Financial Manager.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Matric with Mathematics and Accountancy

Bookkeeping or Cost Accounting Diploma Essential

Minimum of 2 years experience in Stock Control and Costing

Computer Literacy (MS Office, Excel, ERP System)

Previous experience on ERP System will be to your advantage

Availability to work late/ longer hours as and when required

Experience in Manufacturing Environment will be advantageous

Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

Excellent communication skills

Must be able to plan, co-ordinate and prioritise

Must be systems orientated

Must have strong analytical and numerical skills

Must be strictly deadline driven and self-motivated

                                                                                   

DUTIES:

Daily processing of stock transactions in OMNIX

Administrate random stock counts and maintain Stock Master

Prepare Stock Month End File

Quarterly stock take audits

Month-end stock valuations in OMNIX and MS Excel

Monitor Daily Negative Stock Report, identify causes and corrective actions

Compile costings for Production Departments

Load, Value and Receive Imports

Update Selling Prices and Raw Material Costs in OMNIX

Maintain and Update OCS

Amendments and review of quarterly prices

Assist with Year End Finalization

Assist in compiling and capturing of budgets

Backup for Purchasing Clerk

SALARY: R8750 + Prov Fund
