Our client is one of South Africa’s most trusted mobile racking and storage specialists, with over 20 years’ experience in ambient and cold storage applications in Sub-Saharan Africa, Australia and Mauritius.

Their Cape Town and Johannesburg branches service all areas, offering mobile and fixed storage system design, supply, installation, maintenance and repairs. They also repair other mobile systems, and consult on all storage-related issues.

REPORTS TO: Financial / HR Director

Duties & Responsibilities:


· Capturing of all Creditors invoices and return & debits – linking to GRN’s etc

· Handling projects roll-over sheet – Projects in progress

· Debtors – Capturing of all Debtors invoices and credit notes – linking to sales orders etc

Costings / Quoting

· Ensure correct pricing on Pastel Accounting system

· Costings / Quotes for imported supply

· Costings / Quotes for local supply

· Assist with contract compilation for orders placed

· Starting with technical handovers once orders are received

· Costing / Quoting service level agreements and keeping record thereof

· Purchase orders to foreign and local racking and lighting suppliers, includes arranging & recording of Foreign Exchange Contracts

· Liaising with shipping company and forwarding shipping documents

· Liaising with clients regarding ETA and delivery to site

· Process of stage invoices and follow up on payment

· Arranging project files

Stock Administration

· Querying stock items where applicable / querying BoM’s where applicable

· Prepare for and assist with monthly / annual stock counts

· Reporting on stock variances between actual and theoretical, and investigating variances

· Ensure correct stock levels in place in Cape and Johannesburg in conjunction with Stock Controller

· Supervising Stock Controller


· Weekly / Monthly reports on stock levels

· Weekly / Monthly reports on status of all projects

· Monthly reporting on Profit / Loss on projects


· B.Tech degree in Cost & Management Accounting or similar tertiary qualification

· 5+ years’ relevant experience in a manufacturing environment

· Knowledge of Bills of Material processes essential

· Experience in costing and quoting for management

· Experience supervising junior staff

· Computer literate in Pastel Partner, MS Excel and MS Word

· Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing

· Attention to detail

· Enjoys a varied role in a team orientated environment

REMUNERATION: R20 to R25K PM CTC, with a 5% increase after successful completion of the probationary period, to include a Retirement Annuity

Additional information;

• 6 month probationary period

• Credit, criminal and medical check clearance

Salary: R20-25000pm CTC
