The successful candidate will be responsible for:

 

  • Access control of reception area.

  • Assist / direct customer to relevant staff member for sales queries.

  • Answer incoming calls (within 3 rings) and transfer calls to relevant staff members.

  • Record messages & send to relevant person via email.

  • Programming of short codes for staff and update branch extension list and send to staff when necessary.

  • Attend to all incoming faxes and distributing where necessary.

  • Complete Customer Survey Questionnaires and update on Spreadsheet

  • Ensuring that telephone management system is working efficiently and seeing to any repairs and/or maintenance requirements.

  • Assist Office Manager with any other duties as requested from time to time.

     

    Requirements

     

  • Minimum 2 years experience

  • Matric

  • Working knowledge of the company’s mainframe computer system

  • Good communication skills (English and Afrikaans)

  • Be willing to work overtime
