RETAIL OPERATIONS MANAGER – AMERICAN FASHION BRAND

Job Requirements:

Education: University Degree in Business

Administration or Retail Operations

Experience:6-8 years of experience with International Retail brand

Linguistic skills: Excellent English and Afrikaans

Personality Traits: Outstanding Communication and Interpersonal abilities; Strong result orientation & creativity; sharp business acumen

 

Responsibilities:

Ensure  very high retail standards

Handling overall responsibility of the brand –sales/inventory management, marketing, Visual merchandising and retail operations.

Achieving sales targets

All retail staff related matters, including staff hiring, training, incentivizing, periodic appraisals & counselling, mystery shopping etc.

Ensure high level of customer service and outstanding brand experience for the customers.

Ensuring  a positive relations with brand Principals

Participate  in  annual  budgeting process  and  monthly targets

Prepare feasibility/business plans for new locations

Prepare periodic MIS reports and analysis

Ordering merchandise based on sales forecast on annual/monthly basis

Managing stock & ensuring an appropriate stock to sales ratio & ideal stock location wise

Supporting inter shop/location stock transfers

Assisting in rolling out brand wise promotions

Planning the marketing calendar and participating in marketing activities involving events, campaigns & PR
