Our client is seeking a well experienced (but not on management level) HR/IR Officer. Experience with trade unions and manufacturing industry experience highly beneficial.


• Relevant Degree/Diploma obtained at an accredited institution
• Computer Literate
• The ability to communicate in Afrikaans & English
• Be able to work under pressure and deal with people on all levels
• Code 08/EB Drivers licence
• Extensive knowledge of Labour Legislation (LRA, BCEA, SDA, EEA)
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Human Resources environment, with at least 3 years at senior level.

Key areas of responsibilities:

• To optimise the HR business processes which include: – Industrial relations in a Unionised environment
• Training and Organisation development
• Management of Company Policies and Disciplinary & Grievance procedures
• Internal communications & employee assistance
• HR Administration & Manpower planning
• Talent & Performance Management

Start date 1 February 2018.
