Canal Walk – Store Manager

Dynamic company specialising in procurement management and the commercialisation of international fashion brands in Southern Africa are seeking a Store Manager for Canal Walk store.

 

This luxury brand is seeking an individual to provide exceptional customer service, attract and grow our customer base, in doing so increase turnover and store profitability.

 

 

Salary – R 8000.00 – R 10 000.00 ctc + commission

 

Minimum requirements

  • Seeking individual with 1 – 2 years experience in the same role
  • To lead the team to achieve high levels of customer service in order to build customer loyalty, generate repeat business and maximise sales opportunities
  • Lead by example, promoting the desired culture and behaviours to the store team whilst ensuring that relationships with key stake holders remain productive
  • Provide training to all Retail team members to build capacity
  • Maintain quality standards and productivity standards in the store
  • Management of day to day operations
  • Maximise sales and minimise shrinkage through the accurate administration of merchandise, ensuring product is presented and restocked in line with Company standards
  • Recruit, select, manage and develop people to meet competence requirements
  • Implementation of service strategy / new initiatives
  • To communicate with Head Office at the required level
  • Must be able to work retail hours (9:00am -6:00pm and 12-30pm-9pm)
  • Clear credit and criminal record
  • South African citizens only

Key Performance Areas

  • Knows and understands the brand and its objectives, guidelines and visual propositions
  • Acts as an ambassador for the brand at all times
  • Helps to motivate the team to be passionate about the brand
  • Checks and reinforces the team’s understanding of all key brand messages
  • Willing to share information learned with management
