HR Generalist position Cape Town to report to the HR Manager and fulfil the following functions:


·         MUST have experience in the WHOLE RECRUITMENT PROCESS

·         MUST have experience in INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS / CCMA

·         HR related Degree / B-Tech – a must!



·         Develop an HR Recruitment plan according to one mission, values and strategy


·         Fully automated CV management and retrieval system


·         On boarding programme for new staff – ensure comprehensive on the job orientation and follow up of all new staff –

goal is to reduce staff turnover


·         Attending universities and training organisations – marketing


·         Employer Branding – Employer of choice


·         Improved hiring practices and training of managers in interviewing techniques


·         Focus on finding good quality Employment Equity staff

·         Efficient and fair labour relations

·         Training of Manager in IR matters

·         CCMA Representation

·         Focus on the management of staff which should lead to a reduction in dismissals

·         HR involvement in the development in East African countries.

·          Full HR function as well as the alignment with the rest of  the company in terms of Benefits, culture and systems

·         Critical evaluation of HR systems and processes to automate such processes

·         Implement efficient systems within HR to enable the focus to shift HR strategies in line with company strategy as well

·         as creating a corporate culture which encourages development, customer orientation, innovation

·         Other generalist HR duties as and when needed
