How to Find a Job at Mediclinic
You probably know about Mediclinic if you are a South African.Mediclinic International, is a profit-making group of private hospitals with its headquarters in Stellenbosch, South Africa. The South African branch of Mediclinic operates 49 private hospitals around the country which provide health care and medical attention to millions of people. This private health group is one of the biggest employers in South Africa, with over 12000 people being employed as full-time workers, and about half of these are nurses. You can become part of the Mediclinic family by applying for a job in one of their departments or enrolling in their training programmes to become a certified nurse or operating theater assistant.
Recruitment Process
You can apply for a job at Mediclinic by making an online application or faxing an application form to their office.
Online Application:
Before you apply online, you must register your CV on this link >>> CV Registration Mediclinic will not accept your online application until you complete all the steps in registering your CV.Alternatively,you can register your CV by going to the recruitment page and selecting “Register Your CV” on the left sidebar menu >> Recruitment Fill in your CV and click Save at the bottom, proceed to the next step. The system will send an email containing your password and username to your email, log into your email and verify the details.

Select a department, look for your province to see if there are any job vacancies in your area, then click the Job Title to view the details. Scroll down and click Apply at the bottom to begin your application. You will be required to log in with your password and username if you are not already signed in. Complete the few YES/NO questions that are presented to you and click APPLY. That’s all.

Mediclinic Training Programmes
Besides offering medical and healthcare services, Mediclinic is an accredited training institution. It runs its own training programme which produces certified nurses and operating theater assistants each year. The nurse training programme is a 2-year course that equips you with a Nursing Certificate after graduation. You must have at least:
Grade 12 certificate, D symbol for NSC (old certificate)
40% in Maths NQF,
40% in Science NQF,
40% in English NQF,
Be a South African citizen,
Pay an application fee (non-refundable)
Submit a certified copy of your South African ID, grade 12 certificate and receipt of your application fee payment. A short CV is also required.
There are 2 intakes in a year, the May intake and the November intake. The May intake runs from May 1 to 31 July, the November intake runs from 1 November to 31 January.

The Operating Department Assistant training programme is a 3-year course that equips you with a Diploma after graduation. You must have at least:
Grade 12 certificate, D symbol for NSC (old certificate)
40% in Maths NQF,
40% in Science NQF,
40% in English NQF,
Be a South African citizen,
Pay an application fee (non-refundable)
Submit a certified copy of your South African ID, grade 12 certificate and receipt of your application fee payment. A short CV is also required.
The intake runs from 1 May to 31 July of each year.
