PERSONAL ASSISTANT / ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT

Our client has 3 successful small – medium sized companies that operate from the same premises. They are seeking a Personal Assistant to take full responsibility of general day to day admin duties, reporting directly to the owners of the business. The position requires excellent multitasking skills. A true ‘’all-rounder’’. We need someone who can work under pressure and assist with the Accounting. Assisting with monthly accounting preparation for the Accounting company.

JOB REQUIRMENTS:

Previous PA experience is essential.

Knowledge and experience within Accounts, general bookkeeping is ideal – must have basic experience in dealing with debtors, creditors, payroll administration, invoices and processing

Drivers licence and own transport is essential

Excellent Organisational  & Multi-tasking skills needed

Working under pressure

Must be fully computer literate with Pastel experience

E-mail and Microsoft Outlook experience

PowerPoint experience

Internet research – internet savy

Must be responsible to deal with confidential documents and information on behalf of directors

Must have initiative

Must be able to work independently

DUTIES:

Accounts Assistant duties include –

Debtors and Creditors: Capturing, Processing and Follow Ups

Payment on certain suppliers

Customer Invoices

Monthly Bank Recon

Petty Cash

Loan Account and responsible for personal and PMAC Credit Card

Daily filing and organising of documentation

Correspondence

VAT return

Salaries

EMP201

E-filing

Trial Balance

Financial Year End

Normal day to day “To Do’s” that arise

General duties include:

Reception

Tasks to be done as requested

Filing

Functions planning

Shopping and errands

Renewing of vehicle licences etc
