Regional Personnel (HR) Officer – CT

A retailer is seeking a YOUNG “Sports Crazy” Personnel Graduate

Key Responsibilities:
• Recruitment and selection – with a specific focus on full-time, permanent staff placements (stores)
• Provide HR support to both Regional- and Store Management, including advice on IR issues (in accordance with labour legislation)
• Implementation of the HR strategy – with close involvement of the Regional Operations Team
• Conduct regular weekly in-store visits (including scheduled weekend visits) and provide feedback to Regional- and Branch Management
• Assist with the facilitation of (in-house) training programmes as well as initiating external (supplier) training (as required)
• Manage the communication- and understanding of HR policies and procedures
• Effectively manage HR administration (incl. Performance Management, HR Audits, Personnel Files, etc.)
• Labour Relations (representing the company at CCMA)

Key Skills and Attributes:
• Tertiary qualification (HR or Behavioural Sciences) – essential
• Min. 1 years’ HR Generalist experience. Retail experience (will be an advantage)
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent communicator (verbal and written)
• Computer literate (MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
• Personal energy and drive
• Excellent interpersonal relations
• Driver’s License (essential)
• Ability to work weekends- and travel (locally)
